Terms of service

The service

We haul household junk, furniture, mattresses, appliances, garage piles, and similar loads listed on what we haul. Curbside means items are staged at a drive-up spot such as a driveway, residential garage, or alley. Full-service means you point and we carry items from inside, the second floor, or the backyard.

Quotes and price

Prices follow the posted price list and calculator tiers. A quote from photos or from the Junk Removal Cost Calculator is an estimate based on what you show us. If the pile on site is larger, heavier, or different, we stop and re-quote before we load extra. The amount you accept is what you pay. We do not add surprise dump fees after the truck is full.

Your responsibilities

• You own the items or have the right to have them removed.
• You disconnect water and power on appliances before full-service removal.
• You tell us about stairs, locked gates, pets, and HOA rules before we arrive.
• Hazardous materials stay off the pile (paint, chemicals, asbestos, medical waste, explosives).

Access and property

We take care with floors, door jambs, and driveways on full-service jobs. We do not block neighbors longer than the load takes, and we sweep the load-out path. We are not responsible for damage from conditions you did not disclose, or from items that fail while being moved because they were already broken, wet, or infested.

Scheduling and canceling

Windows are estimates. Same-day depends on the route. Please cancel or reschedule by text or phone as soon as you know. Repeat no-shows may lose same-day priority.

Payment

Payment is due when the job is done unless we agreed otherwise in writing. Common methods include card, cash, or other options Fred confirms on the quote. Title to hauled items transfers to Fred's Junk Removal when they are on the truck. Usable pieces may be donated when condition allows.

Limits

To the fullest extent allowed by California law, our liability for a job is limited to the amount you paid for that job. We do not cover lost profits or indirect damages. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Venue is San Diego County.
